What’s in Store?
THE SHOP ALLOTMENT
The Shop rents an allotment in the village. Volunteers grow fruit, veg and flowers that we then sell in the shop.
THE PEOPLE'S BREWERY
The People’s Brewery is a local micro-brewery which was set up in 2012 to provide traditional beers for the Queen’s Head Pub and Thurlton Community Shop. Beer is sold in bottles in the shop and we also sell 16pt and 40pt containers on request. Our main beers are Raveningham Bitter (3.9%), Thurlton Gold (4.2%) and Cascade (4.5%), plus seasonal beers, Arkwright’s (7.2%) and Thorpe Old (5.0%). We also produce specials from time to time.
BEYOND THE GATE CARDS
Steve Bell is an accomplished watercolour artist with an affinity for the British Countryside and its wildlife. Based in the beautiful rural Norfolk countryside, Steve's art is inspired by the nature found both within and beyond the garden gate.Â
Beyond the gate use FSC certified, 100% recycled post-consumer stock and print in the UK to ensure we are environmentally responsable as possible.
ART'S
Hello! I would like to introduce you to ART's - Craft Kitchen, an entrepreneurial project I have been working on since the New Year.Â
I currently have two stable flavours, Allotment Chutney and Fruit Cobbler Chutney, as well as a winter flavour which has been developed. Also, I am excited to say that there will be seasonal flavours of chutneys and jams for spring and summer too, which are all bespoke recipes I have created.
